Tour of the Villa

Take a guided tour and immerse yourself in the secrets of Villa Della Torre, one of the most rarified and precious jewels of the Italian Renaissance, the work of the great Giulio Romano, Michele Sanmicheli and Giovan Battista Scultori. The tour starts from the Chapel designed by Sanmicheli, continues through the Peristyle – the true heart of the Villa – and then takes in the internal rooms where you can admire the wonderful mascaron Fireplaces by Giovan Battista Scultori. The tour draws to a close as it crosses the Fishpond and heads down to the lower Nymphaeum, thus following a descending path as conceived by the Della Torre. There are two scheduled tours from Monday to Friday: at 10.30 and 15.00, while on Saturday tours are held only via prior booking.
